The new modern classic from Austria: The Devil Anse
Description:
Some years ago the trend was that everybody made poker shapes, then it became the stubby poker shapes and now the hottest shape is definetely The Devil Anse. The shape got famous cause Kevin Costner (actor) smoke this in a famous American televison series.
Klaus naturally got inspired by this trend and this is his tribute to the Devil Anse trend. Superb sandblasted, short, oval shank and black ebonite stem. Note the detail with the smooth rim. Mr. Eltang actually saw these and said that it was some of the best he had seen (beside his own version...).

"The pipe smokes excellently and it may not be entirely fair,
but in my opinion Mr. Zenz makes the absolutely unique best
mouthpieces/stems, I have seen so far…. "

Title: Zenz - Pipes Reply with quote
Hello Forum, I was recently at a new pipe maker near Vienna for a visit and
as part of a over four hours of conversation, I examined his workshop and his pipes
thoroughly and calmly. Klaus Zenz is making pipes for almost two years now and his first
works compared with the current, you can see the almost unbelievable progress. Klaus was
alreadyon some shows in Germany and visited other pipemakers as well. He is constantly
striving to improve, and I bought three of his pipes. The mouthpieces are important to me.
He uses only the best rubber and his bites are now perfect and very pleasant in the mouth.
The holes are just and open, so it feels like his pipes are smoking by themselves.
But the elaborate fanning of the bite slots are remarkable and in this price range not
normally to get. Its design language is immature and the finish on a high level the
prices are moderate. He also makes a lot of filter pipes, which at the individual
makers do not come naturally. He is a passionate perfectionist and works long to his
creations and at any time day or night. And it shows also in its exhibits. I was excited and
I amsure that there will be a lot more of his beautiful pipes to come!
I rarely come across a pipe maker, has achieved in just two years,
such a high standard of production.
Look for pure
it's worth it!

Hello pipe friends!
Peter and me enjoyed to visit Klaus Zenz a lot, we spent several hours
examining his pipes very closely, especially his "bamboo pipes" where fascinating.
After several cups of coffee I decided to buy a dainty little pipe with 3 Knuckles
and I'm looking forward to when she is finished.
Klaus as a "self-taught" pipemaker did so various and excellent shapes
(like Blowfish, Bo snail, Bamboos aso.) in only 2 years that I am really curious
how he develops furtherThe mouthpieces are on a extremely high level
and the pipes still do have a moderate price!
I wish Klaus all the best for his future career as a pipe maker !
and all Forianern
well smoke
